Are you fascinated by celebrities, fame, and fortune? Do you like to have the signature of a movie star, sports figure or someone famous? I do! Autographs can also be a good fund raiser.

I started collecting autographs in 1998, and most of these addresses came from other autograph, TV Show, and Sport Team websites. The sports teams may have changed venues and some of the TV shows are no longer running, however, some of them were not running when I started collecting and still tried by sending my star a letter. Some of them made it to the person and they replied. You are doing the first step by using the internet to search your favorite sports team (hockey, baseball, football, cheerleaders, mascots), tv show, and/or stars.

Most of my successful writings were to Sports Teams. I started by buying a pack of baseball cards, mailing one in an envelope, along with a postage prepaid envelope folded inside, and mailed them to the baseball star at the teams address. I also included a small note to the baseball player asking for his autograph. Success came within 3 weeks and my hobby started.
